Karlee’s Senior Pictures from the Beach Session

Senior Pictures At The Beach – Karlee Style

Karlee gave me a big smile when I told her she reminded me of a California girl.  Tall and willowy, with her long blond hair blowing in the wind, it was just an automatic reaction.   Plus, it was a beautiful, sunshiny day for doing senior pictures on the beach, warm enough that we were quite comfortable.  I kept humming the Beach Boys “California Girl” as we were working.

The key to being a “Really Good Photographer”

If this were true then all I’d have to do to become a surgeon is buy a “really good scalpel”

The camera simply records that which you put in front of it. If you don’t know how to properly compose the image, how to construct it with light, how to pose the subject to make them look their best, how to coax natural expressions from a nervous subject, and how to construct and tell a story for the camera to capture, then the camera simply records crap!
