Long before we have you step in front of the camera, we get to know you as a person. This happens at the consultation. By the time we’ve talked for an hour or so, I’ll have a very good idea of what makes you tick, and how we can photograph you to bring out all that’s unique and special about you.

Not everyone is willing to take the time to get to know you well enough to be able to do this, but we are. The consultation is a very important part of how we work with you.
If the first time we met each other is when you walked in the door to be photographed, how in the world could we ever create something that was really unique to you.
Chances are, in that case, you’d get some generic pictures, and that’s why what you see on so many websites all look the same. They may be nice representations of what the person looked like but

Frankly, I think there is. Obviously everyone wants to look GOOD, and the outside part is the part we see. But it’s the inside part that we want to draw out. It’s your personality, your style – it’s WHO YOU ARE, not just what you look like that’s important.
Which is more important- the Studio’s Style or YOUR STYLE?
Some studios have “a style” a look that identifies their work. I’m not sure that’s a great idea, because that means everyone who is photographed there will have senior pictures that look the same.
Frankly, I think your senior pictures should represent YOUR style. That’s why we have such varied photographs on our website. Each one tells the story of who that person is, and how they should best be portrayed.
